Kingsbury has been in dominant form of late and proved too strong once again, finishing ahead of home athlete Dylan Walczyk to stretch his lead at the top of the overall leaderboard.

The day provided a blistering spectacle of freestyle skiing for the crowd, and Walczyk produced a brilliant display and looked as though he could severely challenge the formidable Kingsbury.

But the Canadian was in flawless form and never looked under threat as he sauntered to another win, which leaves him on 329 points in the overall standings - some 144 points ahead of nearest challenger and compatriot Philippe Marquis.

"Last night I had a little fever and didn't sleep very well, but still I was very motivated today," Kingsbury said.

"Now I'm heading into World Championships with three wins in a row and I can't ask for more.

"I just want to keep skiing like I've been doing.

"I don't want to change anything."

In the women's event, it proved to be a straight shoot-out between two of the sport's biggest names as Canada's Justine Dufour-Lapointe edged out American crowd favourite Hannah Kearney - who had failed to make it out of the qualification round the previous day - in the super final.

Dufour-Lapointe's victory also saw her leap above sister Chloé on the moguls leaderboard, and both her and Kingsbury were given their respective athletes of the weekend awards as the event drew to a close.

The Canadian's smooth jumps and clean form were the main factors behind her win and she was delighted with her performance.

"I'm so excited right now," Dufour-Lapointe said.

"I'm so happy.

"I worked hard for this weekend, I said to myself that I would give it my all, and it's my first victory of the year, and I have this new yellow bib on me to head into the World Championships.

"Hannah is my biggest competitor, and she won in Canada and today I won here in the US, so, that's even now."

The World Cup event continues with the aerials event, which begins in Kreischberg, Austria on January 14.
