Logistics, courier services, customs clearance and freight forwarding at the Paralympic Games will continue to be provided by DB Schenker, at least until the end of 2020, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has announced.

Athens 2004 marked the first time the IPC and DB Schenker worked together.

Since then, the company has supported the IPC at a number of Paralympic Games and World and regional Championships.

Under the terms of the new agreement, DB Schenker will support the IPC for Pyeongchang 2018 and Tokyo 2020 and other events, while the IPC will look to offer DB Schenker’s services to a number of Local Organising Committees, broadcasters and IPC members.
