Mohammed Qirat, the Professor of Public Relations and Media at the University, was among those to deliver a lecture, with trainees from different sports federations and national teams on hand to learn.

Among the topics covered were the various types of sports press and the differences between a sports story, report, investigation and commentary.

Al Boenin presented certificates of appreciation to all of the trainees.

The course was approved by both the International Sports Press Association and the Arab Sports Press Association.

QOA's vision is to become a leading academy for sports and Olympic education nationally, and across the wider Arabic-speaking region.
