France's Clement de Premonville triumphed at the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation World Cable Wakeboard and Wakeskate Championships in Buenos Aires.

De Premonville emerged as the winner in the men's wakestake final at the Argentinean capital's Pampa Cable Park.

He achieved an average score of 84 points in the final to take the title.

The silver medal was claimed by Italy’s Giovanni Arrigoni, who ended the competition with 76.67.

France's Maxime Giry completed the top three on 75.00.

Slovakia's Zuzana Vrablova topped the standings in the women's event, having achieved a score of 68.33 in the final.

Israel's Ori Boujo and Spain's Telma Cester followed on 61.33 and 46.00 respectively.


The seated wakeboard competition saw Italy's Emanuele Pagnini take the title, as he topped the standings with an average score of 85.67 points.

France's Jerome Elbrycht and Germany's Kevin Lindner took the silver and bronze medals.

The duo finished with 75.67 and 54.00 respectively.

The Championships are set to continue tomorrow.
