Cameroon came from behind to beat hosts Morocco in four sets to secure the men's volleyball title on the final day of the 2019 African Games in Rabat.

A 22-25, 26-24, 25-23, 25-14 win at the Bouazzaoui Indoor Sports Center completed a perfect record for the Cameroonians in the round-robin table.

Taking the silver medal with four wins out of five were Algeria, who defeated Cape Verde 25-11, 25-18, 25-9.

Egypt secured third place with a 25-14, 25-16, 25-22 victory over Nigeria.

The only other gold medals were in men's and women's team tennis events.

Morocco overcame Egypt 2-1 in the men's final, and there was a reversal of fortunes in the women's with Egypt claiming a 2-0 win over Morocco.

Egypt topped the final overall medal standings with 101 golds, 97 silvers and 73 bronzes.

Nigeria finished second with 46 golds, 33 silvers and 47 bronzes, while South Africa came third with 36 golds, 26 silvers and 25 bronzes.
