The Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MNOC) has signed a sponsorship deal with Bogd Bank through to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Bogd Bank, established in 2014, has become a silver partner of the MNOC after penning an agreement with the organisation.

The MNOC said the deal would cover events including Paris 2024 and Continental Games such as the 2022 Asian Games in the Chinese city Hangzhou.

"Both sides will make close collaboration through to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, including Continental Games, for the benefit of Team Mongolia and the Olympic Movement," the MNOC said in a statement.

Acting MNOC President Ch. Naranbaatar and Bogd Bank executive director G. Saruul signed the deal at a ceremony held to mark Olympic Day and the opening of the renovated Mongolian Olympic Museum in Ulaanbaatar.

The agreement comes prior to the delayed Tokyo 2020 Olympics, set to open on July 23.

Mongolia has won a total of 26 Olympic medals in its history, all of which have come at the Summer Games.

Mongolia's medals have come in judo, boxing, wrestling and shooting.

The nation's best performance came at London 2012, where five Mongolian athletes won a medal.
