The United States' Sebastian Korda and Spain's Carlos Alcaraz are to meet in the final of this year's Next Gen Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Finals, after respective victories in their semi-finals today in Milan.

In an all-American tie, Korda was victorious against Brandon Nakashima by a score of 4-3, 2-4, 1-4, 4-2, 4-2.

The world number 39 survived a potential upset when he went down by two sets to one, but regained his composure and cut down on errors to turn the match around in his favour.

He is to meet Alcaraz in the final, with the Spaniard continuing his fantastic form with a win against Argentina's Sebastian Baez.

The 18-year-old and top seed was in full control against the world number 111, defeating him in straight sets 4-2, 4-1, 4-2.

Alcaraz has recently been on the winning side in matches against established names such as British three-time Grand Slam winner Sir Andy Murray and 2019 Next Gen ATP Finals winner Jannik Sinner of Italy.

Korda takes on Alcaraz tomorrow at the Allianz Cloud, with the match set to begin at 9pm local time.
