Takanashi of Japan posted jumps of 130.0 metres and 132m on the HS 140 large hill at the Lysgårdsbakken Ski Jumping Arena, scoring 141.0 and 150.5 points respectively for a winning total of 291.5.

This was the 62^nd World Cup win of her career, and one which puts her sixth on this season's standings.

Slovenia's Križnar, a normal hill individual bronze medallist and mixed team champion at Beijing 2022, placed second as she scored 285.1 from jumps of 133.5m and 131.5m.

Her compatriot Urša Bogataj, the individual Olympic champion, came third with 282.3 from 135.0m and 125.0m jumps.

Overall World Cup leader Marita Kramer of Austria was fourth with 271.8.

She has 1,045 points for the season, followed by Križnar on 821 and Bogataj on 761.

Križnar also leads the Raw Air standings after she was the top performer in the prologue in Lillehammer.

She has 418,2 points, with Takanashi holding 413.1.

Men's qualification was also held today, with Norwegian home favourite Johann André Forfang scoring 126.3 from a 137.0m jump.

That result also put him top of the Raw Air standings after the first of nine jumps.

Austrian pair Stefan Kraft and Manuel Fettner were closely behind with 125.6 and 125.3 respectively.

The top group including World Cup leader Ryōyū Kobayashi of Japan, who won two medals at Beijing 2022, and his closest challenger Karl Geiger of Germany struggled with wind conditions as they placed 12^th and 14^th respectively.

Norway's Halvor Egner Granerud also had to settle for eighth.
