Rafaella_CintiDecember 9 - Raffaella Cinti (pictured) has been appointed director of operations at the sports tour company Ludus Tours, with specific responsibilities for hospitality and operations at the London 2012 Games.

A former director of international sales with Ludus, Cinti first met the company's founders Adam and Jessica Dailey in Turin while the business was preparing for the 2006 Winter Games.

Her passion for sports, travelling and people attracted her to Ludus in 2008 in Beijing, where she acted as event manager and was responsible for on-site logistics.

"We're thrilled to have Raffa running things on the ground for us in London," said Adam Dailey.

"She knows our company, she knows the Olympics and she knows London."

Before working with Ludus, Cinti was an account manager at Fiat in Italy.

Ludus Tours specialises in tour packages and hospitality at the world's biggest cultural and sporting events.

It offers travel packages to the 2012 Games in London, the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, and Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, among others.
