Neil Fachie and Matthew Rotherham began the last day in style for Britain as they beat Germany's Thomas Ulbricht and Robert Forstemann in the men's tandem sprint.

The winners' compatriots James Ball and Marc Steffan Lloyd joined them on the podium after pipping French duo Raphael Beaugillet and Quentin Caleyron in the bronze-medal race.

In the mixed C1-5 750 metres team sprint, Britain's Kadeena Cox, Jody Cundy and Jaco van Gass lived up to their favourites tag to take gold with 48.675 seconds on the clock.

France and Australia made up the top three as they crossed the line after 49.300 and 50.240 respectively.

In the women's C1 omnium, Britain's Katie Toft secured an easy win as she was the only competitor while her countryman Finlay Graham was victorious in the men's C3 omnium from Dutchman Stijn Boersma and Eduardo Santas Asensio of Spain.

Host nation France had cause to celebrate as Tokyo 2020 champion Alexandre Léauté won the men's C2 15 kilometres scratch race from runner-up Darren Hicks of Australia and third-placed Spaniard Maurice Eckhard Tio.

It marked the 22-year-old's third gold medal of the event, which is two-thirds of France's total while they also secured five silvers and six bronzes.

Australia's Amanda Reid won her second gold of the Championships in the women's C1-2 10km scratch race while Flurina Rigling of Switzerland and Christelle Ribault of France finished second and third, respectively.

Australia came second overall in the standings with seven gold, five silver and seven bronze medals.
