The official poster for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 has been unveiled in outdoor galleries in Australia and New Zealand.

A series of nine Host City posters have also been presented in pop-up style outdoor galleries in Adelaide and Wellington, with these designed to encapsulate the tournament’s theme of Beyond Greatness.

The centre of the official poster features three silhouettes that symbolise the creation of positive change in women’s sports and includes the winners trophy in the centre.

The posters were unveiled with 135 days to go to the tournament and to coincide with International Women’s Day.

FIFA secretary general Fatma Samoura said: "With just 135 days until the tournament kicks off, this is another wonderful milestone to celebrate.

"These posters not only showcase the distinctive identities of our nine Host Cities across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, but also celebrate the tournament’s theme of unity with football at its core."

The artworks are set to be on display at Adelaide’s Festival Plaza until March 22, and the waterfront in Wellington until March 21.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from July 20 to August 20 across Australia and New Zealand, with 32 teams participating.

United States are the defending champions, and will be looking to win the tournament for the third successive time.

A last minute ticket sales phase is due to begin on April 11, marking 100 days until the event begins, with co-hosts New Zealand taking on Norway in the opening match at Eden Park, Auckland.
