Petar Gergyovski and Tervel Zamfirov led Bulgaria to the top of the medals table at the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) Snowboard Junior World Championships in Bansko.

The host nation amassed a leading two golds and two silvers to claim the victory.

Zamfirov was the first to triumph as he beat compatriot Alexander Krashniak in the men's parallel giant slalom by a convincing 240 to 192 points.

Germany's Max Kuehnhauser denied a Bulgarian podium sweep as he beat Gergyovski by 24 with a score of 144.

Gergyovski then managed to medal as he triumphed in the men's parallel slalom big final and subjected Krashniak to a second silver by a margin of 240 to 192.

Once more, Bulgaria came close to a one-two-three finish but it was not to be as Kristian Georgiev lost out to Werner Pietsch of Austria by 24 points.

Kuenhauser achieved another podium place as he combined with Salome Jansing to clinch the mixed team parallel title ahead of Switzerland's Nicola Meisser and Flurina Neva Baetschi.

The Czech Republic's Krystof Minarik and Zuzana Maderova did enough for bronze as they dispatched Elias Zimmerhofer and Elisa Fava in the small final.

The women's parallel slalom victory went to Xenia von Siebenthal of Switzerland who amassed 360 points to seal a commanding win over American Iris Pflum.

A 216-point total for Maderova saw her take bronze once more, getting the better of Austria's Pia Schoeffman by 36 points.

Pflum qualified for another final, the women's parallel giant slalom, but failed to take gold yet again as Japan's Tsubaki Miki outclassed her 360-288.
