World Rowing has included former Oxford and Cambridge University boat race umpire Judith Packer in their list of officials for the regatta at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

"Having worked with many others on the jury at previous international regattas, I know we have an excellent team to facilitate safe and fair racing for the athletes," Packer said.

"It will be such a privilege and honour to represent Britain at the 2024 Paris Olympics."

Packer had been a national technical official at the London 2012 Olympics and umpired the 2021 women's boat race which was held on the River Ouse instead of the River Thames in London because of COVID-19.
