BaseballSoftballUK has announced a new partnership with Uniplay, a company specialising in the design and installation of thermoplastic sports surfaces. The main idea is to "see children of all abilities develop essential skills through play".

Uniplay's aim is to provide creative, imaginative and fun sports surfaces for children of all ages and abilities to build their confidence as they play. As part of the MLB London Series 2023 Legacy Programme, Uniplay installed thermoplastic baseball field markings at Ranelagh Primary School in Newham.

The partnership combines BaseballSoftballUK's technical expertise and support with Uniplay's range of specialist thermoplastic baseball field markings for primary schools.

Commenting on the partnership, BaseballSoftballUK's MLB London Series Legacy Manager, Jon Rye, said: "The professionalism shown by Uniplay during our work on the 2023 MLB London Series Legacy has been first class and I am delighted that a partnership has now been forged between BaseballSoftballUK and Uniplay."

"Together we will encourage primary schools to consider incorporating a baseball diamond into their sports facilities and inspire more children to be physically active," said Rye.

Victoria Walmsley, Uniplay's Sales and Marketing Director, said: "Uniplay is delighted to be working with BaseballSoftballUK to help transform playgrounds and promote baseball in primary schools across the country."

"Our ethos has always been to encourage activity and sport throughout the school day and by promoting globally important sports such as baseball to new audiences, we hope not only to inspire the current generation to try a new sport, but also to leave a legacy for future children," concluded Walmsley.
