Bolt and Williams win top Laureus awards

March 10 - Jamaica’s triple Olympic and world champion Usain Bolt (pictured) won his second successive Laureus World Sportsman of the Year award while American tennis star Serena Williams claimed the Sportswoman of the Year honour in Abu Dhabi tonight.


British tennis in the gutter - literally

March 7 - British tennis hit a new low today with defeat by Lithuania in the Davis Cup in Vilnius which leaves them having to face the prospect of playing in the lowest international tier of the sport and the future of team captain John Lloyd (pictured) in the balance.













Roddick targets London 2012 Olympic gold

November 24 - Andy Roddick (pictured), the former US Open champion, is already looking forward to the London 2012 Olympics where the tennis tournament is due to take place at Wimbledon, where the American has been beaten in three All-England finals.
