A new and improved website has been unveiled by Taekwondo Canada.

The new website is billed as being more mobile-friendly while also offering a "clean uncluttered design" and "improved navigation".

It also features enhanced content focusing on Taekwondo Canada's programmes and events.

Other elements include registration regarding kukkiwon, the taekwondo governing organisation, and global licencing registration systems.

Information on locating more than 300 member schools affiliated with the governing body is also included along with event photos, newsletters and videos.

"Taekwondo Canada would like to thank the Canadian Olympic Committee for their financial support in this project," said a message posted on the new website.

"We’d also like to thank our website designer, THEY Integrated, for their tireless work in transforming our ideas into reality."

Melissa Pagnotta, who competed at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and finished seventh in the under 67 kilograms division, is currently the country's leading taekwondo player.
