A "day of sports" held in Vienna promoted next year's International Ski Federation (FIS) Nordic World Championships in Seefeld.

Prater, a park in the Austrian capital, was the venue for the event.

A downhill simulator, an agility challenge and a miniature jumping hill were on offer to visitors to promote Seefeld 2019.

There was also a Ski Austria autograph tent where fans could meet Olympic medallists such as Lukas Klapfer, Anna Gasser, Benjamin Karl, Michael Matt and Marcel Hirscher.

Other attendees included the Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz and Minister of Sports, Heinz-Christian Strache.

They were presented with an official ticket to the Championships by Ski Austria President Dr Peter Schröcksnadel.

The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships will take place between February 20 and March 3 next year.

Cross-country, ski jumping and Nordic combined are all on the programme.
