The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has signed-up Unilumin as its official supplier of LEDs.

A deal between the governing body and the Chinese company was signed in Shenzhen and will cover top-level international competitions.

Beginning on August 31 when this year's men's World Cup in China begins, the partnership will also cover the next edition of the flagship event in 2023 which will be co-hosted by Japan, Indonesia and Philippines.

As part of the arrangement Unilumin will showcase court-side LED screens and a range of other products.

They will also develop basketball-specific screens which will be co-branded with FIBA and launched next year.

Unilumin already boasts sporting experience at events including the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup.
