Maxim Burov claimed his fifth consecutive win in the International Ski Federation (FIS) Aerials World Cup in the Belarusian capital of Minsk.

Burov scored 126.4 points to top the podium and maintain his dominant run on the World Cup circuit.

The Russian was followed by compatriot Stanislav Nikitin on 124.43 and Canada's Lewis Irving on 118.14. 

Megan Nick of the United States clinched her second World Cup victory of the season in the women's competition.

She recorded 89.88 points, edging out Laura Peel of Australia, who scored 89.04. 

Winter Vinecki of the United States finished with 88.12 to complete the podium. 

Victory for Burov saw him extend his lead on the men's World Cup standings, with the 22-year-old now on 500 points. 

Russia's Pavel Krotov is second on 232 and Nikitin is third on 214. 

Despite her second place finish, Peel maintained her lead in the women's standings and is currently on 370. 

Vinecki is second on 263, while Nick has moved up from fourth to third place with 238.

The FIS Aerials World Cup is scheduled to continue on February 6 in Deer Valley in the US.
