Aloysius Gan and Yan Jia Yi won the BC3 pairs gold, with three wins.

The duo managed to win 12 ends, beating France, who won silver and Brazil that came in third.

Gan and Yi lost only to France and topped the charts by getting the better of Brazil, Canada and Portugal.

For Gan, it was his second gold medal of the event, having triumphed in the male BC3 individual category.

His compatriot also finished with two medals, coming in third in the female BC3 individual class.

Sophie Newnham, Tyler McLelland and Harrison Smith helped Britain to BC4 pairs gold.

They defeated Portugal 3-1 in the opener before beating Brazil in the final.

After a tie break in the gold medal match was, Tyler helped Britain win the title with his final ball.

"I’m so happy to win gold," said Tyler.

"It’s been a fantastic experience to represent Great Britain.

"I was very nervous as I knew if we didn’t score, we’d lose the gold.

"It was so close - I thought we’d go to a double tiebreak, but the Head Referee declared it a win for GB."

Portugal claimed the BC1/2 team title after winning two games and a total of 9 ends.

In the individual male events, hosts Portugal dominated by finishing on top of the podium twice.

Francisco Gouveia triumphed in the individual male BC1 category while compatriot while David Araújo was the BC2 winner.

Gouveia beat Brazilian Igor Baroboskin 6-0 in the final while Araújo came out on top 5-3 after an intense battle Iuri Tauan Saraiva Da Silva.

Brazil, however, made up for the loss thanks to Laissa Polyanna Teixeira and Beatriz Marta Das Chagas in the women's events.

Chagas finished with three wins and nine ends overall to take the title in the BC1 female class.

Teixeira beat Sophie Newnham of Britain for the BC4 gold medal.
