The World Baseball Softball Confederation celebrates in one month a decade since Riccardo Fraccari's election as president in May 2014, on Friday 10 May.

The Baseball Association of Hong Kong in China will host the 12-team tournament, the World Baseball and Softball Confederation (WBSC) has announced. The event will be held at the Central Harbourfront Event Space.

Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Nicaragua and Venezuela secured their places at the 2024 WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup to be played in Barranquilla in August by finishing top of the standings in last weekend's qualifier in the Dominican Republic. Host Colombia also received a wildcard.

The second edition of the WBSC eBASEBALL Series is set to kick off on 1 April with the World Finals, ePremier12, scheduled for November. Throughout the WBSC eBASEBALL Series 2024, a series of qualification tournaments will take place both online and offline, using WBSC eBASEBALL: POWER PROS.

South Africa defeated Botswana in the final of the continental championship. Both national teams have qualified for the World Softball Championship to be held from 12 June to 14 July. Lesotho finished third in the WBSC Men's Softball World Cup Africa Qualifier.

Six Tokyo 2020 gold medallists form the core of Samurai Japan's squad. Former Major Leaguers such as Cruz, Liddi and Beltre also feature prominently in Team Europe's roster. The games will take place from 6-7 March at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has announced the groups for the XVIII Men's Softball World Cup, which will culminate in Canada in 2025, but will begin this year with a group stage featuring 18 teams.
