
The International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) welcomed Namibia and Venezuela as new members.
During their last online meeting, the IWBF Executive Council ratified the membership of Namibia and Venezuela.
The Namibia Wheelchair Basketball Federation become the tenth member of the IWBF Africa Zone.
The Venezuela Federation of Wheelchair Sports was previously an active member in the IWBF Americas Zone, but reapplied again following their lapse of membership since the IWBF moved to Switzerland.

"We would like to welcome Namibia and welcome back Venezuela to the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation family," said IWBF President Ulf Mehrens.
"We look forward to ongoing development and growth of the sport in both countries."
A membership application made by Ethiopia is still pending.
