India are through to a fourth consecutive Under-19 Cricket World Cup final and will face England, who overcame a wobble to defeat Afghanistan and reach a first final in 24 years.

The Indians beat Australia by 96 runs at Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua today in the second semi-final.

Captain Yash Dhull scored a run-a-ball 110 and Shaik Rasheed added 94 runs as India posted a first-innings score of 290-5 from their 50 overs.

Dhull and Rasheed shared a 204-run partnership for the third wicket, and that partnership was larger than Australia's entire innings total.

Vicky Ostwal picked up three wickets, including one in the second over of Australia's reply, to help ensure a comfortable Indian victory.

Next up for India are an English side who showed admirable grit to get past Afghanistan yesterday at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, also in Antigua.

Half-centuries from George Bell and Alex Horton, respectively batting at six and eight, allowed England to reach 231-6 after 47 overs, with the match shortened by rain.

Afghanistan at one point in the chase needed 23 runs off 18 balls, and with four wickets in hand were probably favourites, but a three-wicket 46th over from Reham Ahmed swung the pendulum back in England's favour.

England ended up winning by 15 runs.

The final, which is also set for the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, is due to be played on Saturday (February 5).
